Lukim em i no bilipim

Long taim bilong yumi we i gat evidens, ol i save tokim yumi oltaim olsem lukim em i bilipim. Yumi stap long wanpela wol we 'empiricism' i stiaim, we ol i ting tok tru i save kamap tru long lukluk, pruf, na data tasol. Tasol gutnius i tanim dispela save bilong graun i go long het bilong en. Tok bilong God i tokaut, i no wanpela taim tasol planti taim, olsem trupela bilip i no kamap long ai—em i kamap long Spirit. Samting yumi lukim long ai bilong yumi i ken giamanim yumi, tasol samting we Holi Spirit i soim em i save bringim yumi i go long laip.

Jisas yet i tokaut long Tomas, bihain long kirap bek olsem: "Ol manmeri i no lukim mi, tasol ol i bilip, ol i ken amamas" (Jon 20:29). Dispela em i no wanpela tok kros bilong tupela tingting tasol em i wanpela singaut long wanpela kain lukluk i go insait moa - em Pol i kolim olsem "ai bilong bel" (Efesus 1:18). Lukluk bilong bodi i sot. Em i lukluk long ol lukluk. Tasol bilip i lukluk long ol samting we yumi no inap lukim na i stap oltaim oltaim. Aposel Pol i tok, "Yumi wokabaut long bilip, na i no long ai" (2 Korin 5:7). Dispela em i as bilong Kristen laip.

Bilip i no olsem i no gat evidens; em i pasin bilong bilip long Tok bilong God. Taim yumi daunim bilip i go long wanem samting yumi inap long sekim long bodi, yumi rausim strong bilong gutnius. Tingim Abraham, papa bilong bilip. Em i bilipim God maski i no gat wanpela samting bilong lukim-i no gat pikinini, nogat man bilong kisim ol samting bilong em, nogat pruf we yumi ken lukim olsem promis bilong God bai kamap tru. Pol i raitim olsem, "Abraham i bilip olsem em i bilip tru..." (Rom 4:18). Dispela i no pasin bilong aipas, tasol pasin bilong no pret - trastim pasin bilong God na i no klia long ol samting i kamap.

Jisas Krais i no kam long dispela graun bilong ol man i ken lukim em tasol, tasol bilong ol man i ken save long em, tingim em, na trastim em. I gat planti tausen manmeri husat i bin lukim Em - lukim ol mirakel bilong Em, harim skul bilong Em - tasol ol i no bilip. Ol Farisi i lukim planti samting moa, tasol bel bilong ol i strong. Bilong wanem? Long wanem, lukluk tasol i no inap sevim man. Bilip i save mekim.

Man i save laikim ol sain na ol mirakel, na oltaim em i wet long kisim moa pruf. Tasol bel i kamap nupela gen i amamas long Tok bilong God i inap. Olsem Pita i tok, "Maski yupela i no lukim em, yupela i laikim em, na maski yupela i no lukim em nau, yupela i bilip long em..." (1 Pita 1:8). Dispela em i paradoks bilong Kristen bilip: ol samting we i tru tru em ol samting we yumi no inap lukim long ai bilong yumi, tasol yumi save long en insait tru bikos Spirit i witnesim.

Sapos yu bilip na yu no lukim dispela samting, dispela i no liklik bilip tasol - em i bilip we God i amamas long en. "Bilip em i pasin bilong bilip long ol samting yumi wetim na bilip long ol samting yumi no lukim yet" (Hibru 11:1). Dispela em i no wanpela kalap i go insait long tudak tasol em i wanpela step i go het long lait we ai bilong wol i no inap luksave long en.

Bilip i lukim tru long smok bilong ol samting i kamap, long rot bilong laplap bilong taim. Em i lukluk i go abrusim matmat na lukim kirap bek. Em i lukluk i go moa long pen na hevi na lukim glori. Em i lukluk i go moa long ol samting yumi lukim na i bilip long promis. Dispela em i kain bilip we i save amamasim Bikpela bilong yumi. I no kain we i wet long ol sain we yumi ken lukim tasol kain we i save holim strong ol samting we yumi no inap lukim.

Yumi mas askim yumi yet—yumi trastim God tasol taim yumi inap long bihainim han bilong Em, o yumi redi long trastim Em taim yumi no inap lukluk liklik? Man bilong raitim song i tok, "Sapos mi no bin bilip olsem bai mi lukim gutpela pasin bilong Bikpela long graun bilong ol manmeri i stap laip, bai mi no gat strong moa" (Song 27:13). Em i bilip pastaim long em i lukim.

Dispela em i singaut bilong kamap disaipel: long trastim Bikpela wantaim olgeta bel bilong yumi, na noken dipen long save bilong yumi yet (Provep 3:5). Insait long wanpela wol we i save lukluk i go antap, ol Kristen i mas i stap long bilip - bilip we i lukim Krais i stap tru moa long olgeta sedo bilong dispela wol. Na wanpela de, dispela bilip bai givim rot long lukluk. Tasol inap long dispela taim, mipela i bilip, na mipela i kisim blesing.

Runnymede Christian Fellowship is a church based in Egham but serving a much larger geographical area. Those who call us home come from EghamVirginia Water, Staines, Englefield Green, Egham Hythe, Pooley Green, Maidenhead, Heathrow, Slough, Ashford, Thorpe, Windsor, Woking and beyond.

Our church is a community of believers who regularly meet to share life and show God's love. We do this by encouraging and serving each other and the community. We believe in the power of prayer and are always happy to pray for you.

Church on Sunday at Strodes College, Egham

welcome 2

Our Sunday service starts at 11:00 a.m. and typically lasts about 90 minutes.

We start each service with lively worship with songs from around the world, followed by inspired Bible-based teaching. All our sermons are recorded and are available as a podcast after the service.

We have a monthly cycle of Sunday services, with our Communion Service being on the first Sunday of each month and an All-Age All-Nation Service on the second Sunday of each month. Our other Sunday services include Spirit-focused and teaching services.

We have consciously adopted being a blended church that is both for those online and face-to-face. You are welcome to join us on Livestream or via Facebook, Linkedin, YouTube, or X (Twitter), or you can catch up and watch the recordings later.

Joining us in person

Visiting a new and unfamiliar church for the first time can be intimidating, but we want to ensure you feel welcome and enjoy your time with us. A friendly face will be waiting to meet you at the entrance and welcome you.

Doors open at 10:30 a.m. for coffee and prayer. Our Sunday Service starts at 11:00 a.m. and typically runs for about 90 minutes, normally followed by tea and coffee.

Driving and Car Parking

Our Sunday Morning Service is now held at Strodes College, Strodes College Lane, Egham, TW20 9DR, which has plenty of Parking. Click on the link for directions to RCF.

We have plenty of parking spaces right outside the building. Spaces are reserved near the entrance for anyone with mobility problems (for those with a blue badge). Please let us know if you need to use one of these spaces, have any special needs, or require any assistance.

The car parking area is a public area, so please ensure that your children are under your control and that, for their safety, they do not run around in the car park.

Visiting with children?

Everyone is welcome at RCF. We encourage everyone, young and old, to join the service. We have Sunday School, which starts after worship and runs during the sermon for 30 to 40 minutes for children aged 4 to 12. On the second Sunday of each month, we have a shorter All-Aged All Nations Service, where the children stay for the worship and the sermon.

After Church

We chat over coffee and biscuits after church on the first, third and fourth Sundays. If you want to get more acquainted, why not join us for a Sunday lunch with some of our members? The meal is on us! Please contact us and let us know. We would love to share a meal and get to know you better!
